Macronutrients

Macronutrients - protein, fat, and carbohydrates - are our body’s most important fuel source. They are responsible for fueling almost all of the body’s major functions, meaning humans cannot survive without them. Consuming adequate amounts of healthy proteins, fats, and carbohydrates from a wide range of sources is essential to grow a healthy baby, and make sure mom is getting the fuel they need as well!
